Inter-Racial & Religious Confidence Circle
The Inter-Racial & Religious Confidence Circle (IRCC) was formed in 2002, against the backdrop of the 11 September 2001 attacks of the twin towers, USA. The circle comprises representatives of religious & ethnic-based organisations located within the constituency. The circle acts as platform for the community to have regular interactions to deepen friendships and build trust over time.
- IRCC to formulate strategies and initiatives to promote greater knowledge and understanding among the different races and religions.
- IRCC to engage on inter-faith issues / concerns in depth
- IRCC to focus on organising & fronting activities which promote inter-faith understanding & acceptance
